We are delighted to announce the two winners of this year’s AAF/Faber Young Conductors Fellowship:
Kyrian Friedenberg, MM Orchestral Conducting ‘24, Conservatoire de Paris
Christian Olson, MM Orchestral Conducting ‘20, Jacobs School of Music, Indiana University
Kyrian and Christian will travel to Salzburg in July for a truly unique experience, where they will sit in on almost all of the rehearsals for the Salzburg Festival, witnessing firsthand the process of some of the world’s greatest artists, including the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra.
The AAF/Faber Young Conductors Fellowship is funded through the generosity of AAF treasurer and trustee Karl Heinz Faber and his wife Edith.
